Careers at The Royal Mint
Making coins and medals, whilst creating gifts and investment opportunities for customers in the United Kingdom and overseas, The Royal Mint is the world’s largest export mint. Originality sits at the heart of everything we do and is what makes us a world leader in design and craftsmanship. With a proud, 1,100-year heritage, we want to retain and attract employees who take pride in their work and feel rewarded, and recognised, in return. Focusing on the health and wellbeing of our employees, whilst achieving excellence in learning and development, we are celebrating our differences to ensure an inclusive future and the continuation of our legacy.
Celebrating Differences for an Inclusive Future
In 2022, we launched a commemorative UK 50p coin celebrating the 50th anniversary of Pride in London. The coin marked the first time we had celebrated the United Kingdom’s LGBTQ+ community on a UK coin, whilst forming part of our wider commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. As part of our commitment, we have coordinated Diversity and Inclusion training for all employees and created a network of Diversity and Inclusion Champions, who support our wider vision of celebrating differences for an inclusive future.
