This set includes the six definitive UK coins from that year. The coins included in this set include a 50p, 10p, 5p, 2p, 1p and ½p coin, each dated 1976. The obverse of each coin features the second definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Arnold Machin. Each coin has been produced using the same base metal as the denominations’ circulating equivalents but are instead struck to Proof standard.
